11th Annual Colorado Relay

Congratulations to the Teams of the 2008 Colorado Relay who persevered through rain, sleet, snow, slop, mud, muck and wind on day one of the Colorado Relay. Tough conditions, but we saw lots of smiles to go along with the gritted teeth of determination. Big thank you's to all the teams for staying safe and for the excellent work of the 300+ volunteers who staffed our exchange points, checked in teams directed traffic, kept spirits up and helped us succeed on such a gigantic race course.

Thanks to all our great sponsors -- we had terric support from all our sponsors. Thank you! If you are interested in sponsorship for the 2009 race please visit the sponsor link above.

Finish Times are posted on the 2008 Results page.

The 2009 Colorado Relay Dates are September 11-12, 2009. Registration is open for alumni teams and general registration opens Oct. 10, 2008.

24 hours of freedomAlso Check out the "24 Hours of Freedom" in Arizona May 8-9, 2009. This 211-mile Team Relay (teams of 12) goes from Flagstaff, nearly to Phoenix. The majority of the route is at high elevation (average 5000') and follows trails, and dirt roads to its finish line. The race benefits the Freedom for Life Foundation, getting disabled athletes into the outdoors and into the wilderness.

SpotSPOT THE RELAY!!!
Thanks to the teams who tested SPOT units on the race course and helped us track the teams as they followed the 174-mile and 112-mile courses.
