Colorado Relay Century
The Colorado Relay Century is the 112-mile sister race to the "Colorado Relay Classic". The 2009 Century race will go from Frisco, Colorado and run on bike path up and over Vail Pass, down into Vail, then follow frontage roads down to Glenwood Canyon, follow the bike path down into Glenwood Springs and follow bikepaths, frontage roads and dirt roads the back way into Carbondale, Colorado in the Roaring Fork Valley.
The Century course has customized starting times on Friday afternoon, September 12 so that teams of 1, 5 or 10 can finish in Carbondale the next morning/afternoon. This course is perfect as an introduction to the full Colorado Relay Classic or a testing ground for single runners wanting to test themselves on a 112-mile endurance event. The same exchanges and aid stations are available along the route for both races. For route details please see the information for the Classic Race in the "Race Info" section.
